Show Another fine day saw bumper entries at the FHS Annual Show on Sunday 15th August. As before, it was lovely to have so many inexperienced riders choosing the FHS Show as an introduction to competition. The Judges were impressed with the high standard of all of the Competitors. Special mention goes to the Lead Rein and Beginners Gymkhana events where ponies, riders and helpers alike had a very enjoyable hour. Show Once again FHS Showing Show was well supported and it was an enjoyable day for both Competitors and Spectators alike. It was good to know that Felsted’s reputation for helping novice riders has spread with so many choosing this as their first show. There was, of course, the usual high standard of experienced competitors too. Thank you to all the Judges, Stewards and helpers without whom we could not run such a successful show. New Archive Pages On Website We are pleased to inform you that our website now includes two new archive pages - News Archive and Events Archive, enabling visitors to easily look at our previous news items and event reports and results. For new visitors and potential competitors, this offers an ideal opportunity to get a feel for the nature of the activities run by The Felsted Horse Society. For those current members, it means the 'wall of fame' results will remain available for posterity and reflection for years to come! reports of men taking photographs of horses in the area.
A white Transit and a red Landcruiser have been mentioned in
connection with these sightings. Latest reports say that
14 horses have been stolen in the Appleby Horse fair is
about to be held, so please be very vigilant and warn your horsey friends. |
